September is National Preparedness Month!

September is recognized as National Preparedness Month (NPM) which serves as a reminder that we all must take action to prepare, now and throughout the year, for the types of emergencies that could affect us where we live, work, and also where we visit. National Preparedness month is sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This year’s theme is “Don't Wait. Communicate. Make Your Emergency Plan Today.” The program emphasizes the importance of having a plan in place for your family should disaster strike. Being prepared when disaster strikes you and your family could mean the difference between life and death. SERVPRO of Lexington Is Ready for Whatever Happens. Ever wonder how to pick up those tricky shards of glass when something breaks? All you need is soft molding clay (play-doh)! Roll it into a ball, press it gently against the shards, making for a worry free clean-up!
